Participation in the exhibition “Fun (with) time” by the Polish Photographic Club, Radom region

On 13 April 2018, at 6 p.m., the opening of the annual photography exhibition of members of the Polish Republic Photo Club Association of Artists – Radom region, entitled ‘Playing with Time’, took place.

The exhibition will be open until 17 May this year.

The authors of the exhibition wondered how to approach the subject, how to illustrate the passing of time, transience? It would seem that it is a seemingly easy task to capture movement, the changing seasons. However, an image that ‘speaks more than a thousand words’ must, in addition to its interesting aesthetics, also provoke reflections that will remain in the viewer’s consciousness for longer than the average reflection stimulated by advertising.
Twenty members of the Polish Republic Photo Club associated in the Radom region tackled the theme of the passage of time, taking photographs with their phones, digital cameras or even a drink can. The photographs were exposed for periods ranging from a fraction of a second to a year and a half,
using various techniques such as pinhole, solarigraphy, mototype and multiple exposure. The result of these efforts is a set of over 30 photographs presented under the common title ‘Playing with Time’.
The exhibition features over 30 works by photographic artists, including Iwony Czubek, Elżbiety Drzazgi, Stanisława Gąsiora, Ryszarda Gołębiowskiego, Tomasza Grzyba, Katarzyny Gębskiej, Leszka Jastrzębiowskiego, Sebastiana Klochowicza, Szczepana Kurzeja, Krzysztofa Kuzko, Iwony Nabzdyk, Kordiany Pawlak, Barbary Polakowskiej, Aldony Sumińskiej, Roberta Sumińskiego, Piotra Tracza, Radosława Walasika, Anny Wróblewskiej, Doroty Wólczyńskiej i Krzysztofa Zdanowicza.
