The management of the Mazovian Centre for Contemporary Art Elektrownia, along with the curator and authors, are honoured to invite you to the opening of the exhibition ‘FOTOGENY’.

The vernissage will take place on 29 January at 6 p.m. at the MCSW Elektrownia in Radom, at 1 Kopernika Street in Radom.

The exhibition presents photographs by members of the newly established Radom Branch of the Association of Polish Art Photographers. The authors are: Przemysław Barański, Tomasz Grzyb, Sebastian Klochowicz, Jarosław Korbiński, Piotr Mazur and Zdzisław Słomski. This is the first joint presentation of the ZPAF artists associated with the Radom Branch. It presents various creative attitudes collected in original statements.
We do not want to treat this exhibition as an annual community exhibition. For us, it is rather an opportunity to introduce ourselves to the residents of our city, to present small fragments of our work, to show our attitudes concretised in the medium of photography. These attitudes, through the chosen themes and form, are characteristic of each of the authors. The (re)presentation of many different attitudes is a distinguishing feature of this exhibition. Its only common denominator is the title ‘FOTOGENY’ connecting the authors.
