The Park of the Centre for Polish Sculpture in Orońsko is an exhibition space full of creative inspiration and extremely interesting, which has been used for years for individual artistic explorations. The authors of the photography exhibition “PARKour” are members of the FORMATS collective from Radom. In order to show how many ways there are to interpret the space of the park and its role, they have used various kinds of procedures to present this place in an unusual way, including: hybrid, silver or digital techniques, infrared photography, pinhole and chromium rubber. The close proximity of Orońsko means that photographers very often come here to seek inspiration. This magical place, through the changing seasons and permanent and temporary exhibitions, takes us back to the past and directs us towards the future. The ambiguity and correlation with nature of the works on display stimulate the imagination and compel the search for different means of expression. The possibility of contact with nature and art, and the positive energy that envelops our minds as soon as we enter the park, make our senses sharpen and begin to perceive reality in an uninhibited way. It is a place where we forget about the real, the rational and the imposed. We begin, through conversation with ourselves, to discover the forgotten, the overwhelmed and the unfathomable. Suddenly we realise that we can step out of the patterns we have worked out, free ourselves from the limitations imposed on us and set our imagination free. To get to know our creative, better self.
